Client Room Inspiration: Formal Living Room

The first post of 2013 and I couldn’t be more excited to share this client room with you.  It’s often difficult to envision how pictures in your home will flow with the rest of the decor until you’ve seen it during your Design Appointment.  We’re able to photograph the walls where you’d like to place your family portraits and show you exactly how it will look, taking into account sizing and placement, before your finalize your order. And that is exactly what we did with this canvas cluster.   This grouping of three 16×16 squares is a great example of perfect placement, sizing and color for the space.  Brady and his parents coordinated their outfits in shades of blue, green and gray which work beautifully with the neutral tones of their formal living room.

Each piece hangs individually so as Brady grows, they have the option to substitute pieces and move the younger pictures to another room… a wonderful option for a growing family.

And the CarryAbout Album is for all the rest of their favorite pictures.  The blue suede cover is again a perfect complement to the color scheme of the session.  Hope this gives you some ideas of how portraits of your family can be incorporated into your home.  After all, they are the most personalized (and priceless!) fine art there is.
