I will never get tired of photographing smash cake sessions. Sometimes they look to mom for any sign that they shouldn’t be eating this deliciousness, and then dig in without abandon. Other times, they just don’t like it at all – whether it’s the mess they don’t like or simply that they don’t like the flavor, no matter what I or mom try, they’re not having it.
